BRETT TAYLOR - LINEBACKERS
The pride of his hometown Macomb, IL, Taylor finished his senior season at Western Illinois University in 2017 as one of the most prolific linebackers in program history. His senior season earned him numerous honors, which include: First Team All-America (STATS), Walter Camp Football Foundation All-America Team. First Team All-America (College Sports Madness), Second Team All-America (Associated Press), Finished 7th in the Buck Buchanan Award voting (National Defensive Player of the Year), First Team All-Missouri Valley Football Conference, First Team Academic All-MVFC, Missouri Valley Football Conference President's Council Academic Award, MVFC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award, MVFC Honor Roll. After the 2018 NFL Draft, Taylor was invited to numerous rookie mini-camps across the league, choosing to head north for the reigning NFC North Division Champion Minnesota Vikings. Taylor's No. 1 sports highlight was in high school hurdling two offensive linemen on the same play and tackling both the quarterback and running back in a high school playoff game his 2012 senior season.
