ARTHUR RAY, JR - OFFENSIVE LINE

One of high school football's  brightest young coaches on the rise in Illinois, "Coach L.A." is the head coach at Curie High School as well as the owner of "Arthur Ray's Lineman Academy" in his native Chicago. Coach L.A. was one of the nation's top ranked OL recruits with a promising future at the next level when he signed with the Michigan State Spartans in 2007. However, before leaving for school that summer, Coach L.A. was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer that nearly ended his college career before it even started. Determined to play football again, Coach L.A. won his battle with cancer, and became an inspiration to all by fighting his way back onto the field to realize his goal of playing in the Big Ten. Coach L.A. had a brief stint playing professional football after college, and even spent some time in the Miami Dolphins organization. After he retired as a player, Coach L.A. moved home to Chicago and opened "Arthur Ray's Lineman Academy" that works with youth, high school, and even professional level offensive and defensive lineman.

Arthur Ray, Jr is the head offensive line coach for I-72 DO OR DIE PROSPECT SHOWCASE. Coach L.A.'s attitude and passion for offensive line is contagious!
